As one of the few gynaecology practices in Prague, we can offer surgical treatment of gynaecological illnesses at our own operating rooms located at our Prague 5 - Walter branch. We carry out the procedures in the form of one-day surgery which means that the patient is then free to return home on the same day of the procedure being carried out.

For our female patients, we have compiled a unique set of pregnancy care packages. We not only offer prenatal care services based on the recommendations of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, but also a number of above-standard examinations (combined screening in the first trimester, non-invasive prenatal tests, ultrasound examinations as part of each pregnancy examination, 3D and 4D ultrasound examinations, nutritional and lactation (breastfeeding) counseling, physiotherapy and more). If you experience any acute health problems, we offer nonstop consultation from our gynecology nurse, or our doctor if necessary.  Thanks to our long-term and close cooperation with the Institute for the Care of Mother and Child, we can offer our female patients the presence of our doctor (or Doula) during birth. 

Interdisciplinary cooperation

Many health problems, whether gynecological or related to pregnancy require the cooperation of doctors from other medical fields.  At Canadian Medical, we offer the option of unusually broad multidisciplinary cooperation. For example, in the case of inflammatory gynecological illnesses, we often combine gynecological care with treatment from an immunologist. 

Additionally, we also cooperate closely with other leading medical facilities (Institute for the Care of Mother and Child, Breast Diagnostic Centre Waltrovka etc.). If there is a need for urgent treatment, examination or hospitalization outside of Canadian Medical, we will provide you options from our network of specialists that we cooperate with. Should you wish, we can offer you their personal assistance.
