ENT – ear, nose and throat

ENT – ear, nose and throat

Otorhinolaryngology, abbreviated ENT, is the branch of medicine that specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat diseases.

Comprehensive ENT care at a high level

Canadian Medical provides comprehensive diagnostic care and treatment of ear, nose and throat problems. Our medical care includes both standard ENT treatment and specialised care.

Our high standard of care includes:

  • a sensitive and individual approach
  • sufficient time for treatment and mutual communication
  • a pleasant and friendly environment
  • appointments at a fixed time and minimal waiting time

Modern equipment and diagnostic methods

The clinics are equipped with modern instruments for comprehensive ENT care at a high professional level.

During examinations, our doctors use an ENT unit with a flexible endoscope and video streaming. This device allows doctors to examine the oral and nasal cavities and inside the ears with minimum fuss.  The endoscope image is transmitted to a monitor where the doctor and the patient can see the area being examined.

Other ENT equipment includes an otomicroscope that allows examination of the ear, the ear canal, the ear drum, as well as some of the middle ear, and ultrasound, which is used for diagnostics in the region of the head and throat.

We also have instruments and rooms for minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies and removal of mucosal lesions in the mouth and throat.

Cooperation with specialists in related fields

Our ENT department at Canadian Medical works with other specialists, such as allergists, immunologists and endocrinologists, and in the case of more serious illnesses it provides follow-up care at university workplaces or at the ENT clinic of Professor Betka.

An experienced ENT medical team

All of our ENT doctors are leading specialists with an excellent professional reputation capable of treating some of the most complicated medical conditions. Additionally, our specialists have gained valuable experience working at clinics abroad, guaranteeing that you will only receive superior medical care.
