In our allergy and immunology department we provide the complex diagnosis and treatment of allergy and immunological disorders. We test and treat allergies for pollen, insects, dust and mites, fungus or animals, and we attain excellent results in the treatment of these disorders through a protocol of allergy shots. We examine and treat bronchial asthma, chronic colds and allergic skin complaints such as atopic eczema or hives. We test and treat food allergies and food intolerance. We also examine and treat patients suffering from chronic sicknesses, repeated bacterial and viral respiratory tracts infections, urogenital tract infections etc.

Conscientious care of patients and sufficient time for examination and treatment

In allergy and immunology it is very important at the beginning of the treatment to gather a detailed patient history, an insight into the life situation of the patient and a range of tests. For this reasons our doctors always have sufficient time for the patient, and the initial examination usually takes one hour or more in order to ensure sufficient space for all aspects of treatment. Our doctors also place great emphasis on the high professional standard of our therapeutic procedures, which are frequently beyond the framework of standard allergy or immunological treatment.

Co-operation with other experts

At Canadian Medical our allergy department cooperates with an ear, nose and throat specialist, a dermatologist, pulmonary expert, internal specialist and gynaecologist. All of these doctors work together as a team and share the same documentation. If necessary they also work with other experts, mostly in university hospitals.
