“I have been submersed in the field of nutrition and everything that surrounds it for well over ten years now. At the beginning of my practice, I mainly focused on healthy patients who wanted to lose, or conversely, gain weight, which included children and athletes. After receiving the necessary education, I began to dive into the nutritional wellbeing of sick patients, where a good nutritional status is a key part of prevention, treatment and subsequent recovery. The diverse range of patients that I see in my practice are a repeated proof that nutrition plays an integral part of our day to day lives, and if we want to live an active and healthy lifestyle, we need to give it the attention it deserves. If we have a goal in life and we dedicate the necessary amount of time, energy and enthusiasm, it is impossible for us not to achieve that goal.”

Nutritional counselling or advice is useful for both patients who are interested in a mere consultation of their own nutritional habits, to receive advice on leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle, as well as clients for whom a correct nutritional intake could significantly improve the treatment of a disease. This can include problems with body weight (obesity, or conversely, low body weight), gastrointestinal problems, diabetes, food allergies and intolerances both in adults and children.
