Reduction in the size of the labia majora

Article

29. 08. 2018

As a result of a major tissue loss of the labia majora and its associated sagginess, a procedure to reduce the overall size is carried out.

How is the procedure carried out?

The surgeon carries out an incision on the border between the skin and the mucous membrane, then continuing with modeling of the inner tissue and then sowing it together using self-absorbing stitches.

How long does recovery take?

Following surgery, it is recommended that the patient washes the region several times each day with a mild solution of Betadine. The labia majora will heal within three weeks from the procedure being carried out. For approximately four weeks, the patient should avoid any pressure on the scars and should avoid sitting on the area, riding a bicycle or riding a horse. For two months following surgery, sexual activity is not recommended.

Price of the procedure from: 35 000 CZK
