Canadian Medical is now able to offer our patients an advanced imaging eye examination, using the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) test.
It is a unique and advanced diagnostic technology in the care of patients' eyesight, that is able to capture even the slightest changes in the eye, that would be difficult, or nearly impossible to detect during a routine examination.
A meticulous examination of the OCT imagery helps identify early signs and manifestations of ocular diseases, such as glaucomas, or age-related macular degeneration. The biggest advantage of the highly accurate OCT test is that it often is able to detect changes in the ocular tissues, even before the patient notices any deterioration in their eyesight.
