During lipolifting, the patient's own fat tissue is used as a filler for the purpose of esthetic improvements in the other parts to the body. The fat can be used for example to fill wrinkles on the face, to gain fuller lips, to increase the size of the breasts or to enlarge the buttocks.  A plastic surgeon will remove fat tissue from a region of the body where there is sufficient amounts of it already (stomach, thighs or hips). The fat tissue is then processed and a special cannula is then used to introduce it to the desired region.

Breast enlargement using body fat

This procedure is carried out under general anesthesia with a 2 day hospitalization. It is possible to apply 250ml of fat into each breast to ensure that it is healed correctly in layers. Approximately 30% of the fat is then absorbed within two months following surgery. We recommend repeating the procedure in 5-6 month intervals. The procedure causes swelling which will be cooled using ice pads. It is essential to rest for at least two weeks while in home care. For the first two months, the patient should avoid any strenuous physical activity, picking up any heavy items at an angle greater than 40 degrees and exerting any pressure on the breasts.
