Patients have the benefit of less strain on the body thanks to the minimally invasive methods, which shorten the recuperation time and thus enable a faster return to normal life. The need for longer-term hospitalisation is also eliminated, thus reducing the risk of hospital-acquired infections and shortening the period of sick leave.

Our surgical department at the Waltrovka clinic offers a broad range of surgical procedures in two multi-specialisation operating theatres. The inpatient section features single- and double-bed rooms with premium furnishings. Patients have privacy in their rooms, of course with their own sanitary facilities including a shower stall, as well as television and Wi-Fi.

Patients are briefly hospitalised according to the type of procedure and their health condition, though they are usually released the same day. Post-operative care is provided on an out-patient basis until treatment has been completed. The procedures are covered by medical insurance and can be arranged by anyone, including clients who are not members of a Canadian Medical programme.
