Mgr. Tereza Čápová

Specialization: Physiotherapy

Clinics: Apeiron – Prague 8

Language skills: Czech English French

After successfully completing my master's degree, I joined the Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic in Prague run by chief doctor Liščáková, where I was led by Mgr. Šárka Hanušová and spent half of my days working on the wards and the other half in a rehabilitation clinic. Malvazinky allowed me to be able to apply  theoretical knowledge I gained from my education to my practice, and at the same time I was supported in my further development through regular seminars, case studies and had the possibility/need to consult doctors and more experienced colleagues.

The transition to the EUC allowed me to focus 100% on outpatient work.

At work, I meet people who want to return to painless range of movement in day-to-day life, or in sports after injuries, or those who suffer from pain and overload of some structures of the musculoskeletal system, which can lead to structural changes.

I enjoy looking for the causes of my patient’s issues and helping them get rid of locomotor habits that often lead to musculoskeletal overload and pain. I will be happy to advise you on how to move more easily, flexibly, elegantly, smoothly and efficiently. I want to help you  treat your body so that it is formed and not DE-formed. The human musculoskeletal system is absolutely fascinating and fortunately, very adaptive.

In addition to rehabilitation, I regularly do jogging (including barefoot), yoga and Pilates, so if you are interested in how to practice running better, I’ll be happy to advise you in this aspect as well.
