Modern treatment for venous conditions

News

10. 02. 2026

Chronic venous disease can significantly impact daily comfort — from heavy legs to serious complications such as venous ulcers. Early diagnosis and modern outpatient treatment help prevent problems and keep your legs healthy and pain-free.

At the Waltrovka clinic, we focus on modern care for all forms of chronic vascular defects, including varicose ulcers. We will provide care also to clients with complicated diagnoses for which conventional therapy under general anaesthesia is not appropriate. All procedures will be performed on an outpatient basis, under local anaesthesia, so patients will be able to get back to their normal activities immediately afterwards. Clients will be served by a team of doctors with international experience in the field, who will perform procedures according to the latest findings and international recommendations.

How to make an appointment

If the client is interested in an outpatient procedure, he/she should make an appointment as soon as possible for a consultation with a doctor, who will choose the most appropriate surgical method and schedule a date for the procedure based on the client’s current health condition.
Care is available to all clients with Czech health insurance, as well as to clients without Czech health insurance and foreign clients on the basis of direct billing. Canadian Medical clients with the Gold and Platinum membership programmes have the organisational fee for the initial consultation included in their membership.

To make an appointment for a consultation, please contact the client line at 222 300 300.
