Booking physiotherapy appointments from January 1, 2025
News30. 12. 2024
We would like to inform you about the new rules for booking physiotherapy appointments, effective January 1, 2025. To ensure that your FTE referral (requisition) does not expire, please pay attention to the following changes:
- Referral Validity: The FTE referral must be used within 14 days of issuance. You need to request a physiotherapy appointment within this 14-day period.
- A new FTE referral is required if you book your appointment on the 15th day or later the voucher is issued, as your existing referral will no longer be valid and a new one must be issued.
- Appointment Timing: The first appointment can take place after the 14-day window. However, if you request a booking and are placed on the waiting list (WL), your request will still be valid.
- Overall Validity: The FTE referral is valid for 3 months. After this period, you will need to obtain a new referral.
- Separate Appointments: Each FTE referral requires a separate appointment. It is not possible to undergo multiple physiotherapy treatments on the same day. For instance, if you have an FTE referral for your shoulder and another for your knee, you must book two separate appointments on different days.
Please book your physiotherapy appointment as soon as you receive the referral from your doctor.
These rules do not apply to referrals issued before December 31, 2024.
