How is the procedure carried out?
The procedure is carried out under local anesthesia or combined with sedation. The incision is carried out along the border between the temporal and forehead areas, in the hairy part of the scalp. The main goal is the fixation of the muscles and the stretching of the skin towards the upper structures of the head. This type of surgery is often part of the facelift surgery.
How long does recovery take?
For several days following the procedures, the patient wears a bandage. Within 8 to 10 days, the post-surgery swelling disappears. The effects are visible immediately.
