CMC first gained the accreditation in 2011 and has since maintained a very high standard of medical care for all of its patients. In addition, it was the first private medical facility in the Czech Republic to have received this prestigious accreditation.
The accreditation was granted based on set norms for outpatient medical facilities. The certificate signifies a high level of quality of the services provided as well as excellent patient-oriented medical care in a safe environment. The criteria set out by the accreditation committee are very strict. However, as a result of this, patients can rest assured that medical care is provided in line with proven methodology and rules. Clinics gain this accreditation voluntarily. However, as a result of this effort, patients can better recognize which medical facilities offer best quality medical care possible while respecting the rights and needs of the patients it treats.
The certificate is valid for three years and after its expiry a new accreditation assessment is necessary. The medical facility can either pass, resulting in the extension of the accreditation or fail, thereby losing the certificate altogether.
Canadian Medical Care has proven it ranks very high in terms of caring for its patients and providing high-quality medical services. During the assessment, it has gained a 9.8 point rating out of a maximum of 10 points.
