During her internship, MUDr. Daniela Vaňousová will specialize on the occurrence of melanomas. New Zealand is second behind Australia in the number of overall cases of this deadly skin tumors. It is precisely in New Zealand and Australia that doctors have the most experience with diagnosing melanomas, treating them as well as checking for the tumors. It is here that the countries have a functioning and successful screening system as well as the necessary monitoring.
Dermatoscopy for CMC patients
MUDr. Vaňousová is due to receive valuable information and experience in this area and will widen her knowledge concerning dermatoscopy. This advanced method of examining birthmarks and moles can diagnose a melanoma in its very early stages where surgical removal is often the only necessary treatment.
The experience gained as a result of the internship will be applied to patients of Canadian Medical Care. In cases where problematic birthmarks and moles will be examined, patients at risk will be screened and diagnosis will be possible at very early stages. All of this will naturally be carried out with utmost professionalism.
In the Czech republic, the number of patients who are diagnosed with this dangerous type of skin tumors is constantly on the rise. An early diagnosis of a melanoma can minimize the surgical procedures necessary for the removal of subsequent tumors.
