She works in Prague at the ÚPMD - Institute for Mother and Child Care Podolské nábřeží as the head doctor of the gynaecology clinic for children and adolescents. For 25 years, until 2019, she has worked at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic at the Olomouc University Hospital. Since 2019, she has opened up her own private outpatient clinic in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and an outpatient clinic in Paediatric Gynaecology in Olomouc. She works simultaneously in his outpatient clinic and in ÚPMD.
Her main area of interest are issues related to the gynaecology of children and adolescents (GDD), which is a field she has been working in for the last 20 years. During her work in Olomouc, she was part of the team of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic, worked as the chief physician of the paediatric gynaecology clinic and played a role in the teaching of future physicians both in theory and practice. In her educational activities, she focuses mainly on GDD, and this is relevant to her professional and publishing activities as well. As a former member of the AK MZD for gynaecology and obstetrics and at the same time the head of the GDD team of the AK MZD, she participated in the creation of an educational program for the specialisation into the field of paediatric gynaecology. She is a member of the examination board for qualifications in the field. In 2003, she was appointed a forensic expert in the field of healthcare, for the obstetric branch, specialising in paediatric gynaecology and adult gynaecology. She is actively involved in this area and a few years ago was one of the initiators of the opening of the first investigation centres for victimised children in Olomouc. Since 2017, she has been the chairwoman of the Czech Society of Gynaecology of Children and Adolescents of the Czech Medical Association JEP. Since this year, she has also focused her activities on cooperation with PLDD (General Practitioners for Children and Adolescents) at various levels of activity and has started cooperating with internationally recognised authorities in the field of paediatric gynaecology within EURAPAG.
